Mike Gilbert is a deacon and senior adult class teacher at Bethany Baptist Church in Lubbock, Texas. Saved at a young age, he has taught Bible classes for over 40 years. With a PhD from Texas Tech University and extensive global travel as head of R&D in agriculture, Mike's deep Bible study informs his teaching ministry focused on prophecy. He and his son, Pastor Jeremy Gilbert, lead prophecy days and conferences in Independent Baptist Churches.
Born and raised in Plainview, Texas, Pastor Jeremy Gilbert grew up attending Calvary Baptist Church, where his parents and grandparents were faithful members. His family ensured he was present at every service, and at age eight, he accepted Christ as his Savior. While pursuing a finance degree at Texas Tech University, he felt a calling to preach at age twenty, redirecting his life's path. After completing his degree, he served in various church ministries, took Bible institute courses, and trained for pastoral work. During this time, he married Tiffany, his steadfast partner in ministry. Bro. Jeremy subsequently completed a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies from West Coast Baptist College.
On November 8, 2015, after serving as Associate Pastor for about a year, he became the pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Plainview. Under his leadership, the church thrived for five years. In 2020, he and his family relocated to Austin, Texas, where he served as Associate Pastor under Pastor Dusty Brian in an interim role for two and a half years. In December 2022, he accepted a call to pastor Central Baptist Church in Gillette, Wyoming, where he now serves a dedicated congregation. He and Tiffany have three children: Jax, Harper, and Brinnley.
J. B. Hixson is the founder and president of Not By Works Ministries. A pastor, professor, and
national conference speaker, Dr. Hixson has authored fourteen books and contributed to many
theological journals and other Christian publications. He earned his B.A. from Houston Baptist
University; Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary; and Ph.D. from Baptist Bible Seminary.
He has served on the faculties and adjunct faculties of nine colleges and seminaries.

When he is not traveling for speaking engagements, he is usually in the pulpit at Plum Creek
Chapel in Sedalia, CO where he serves as the Lead Teaching Pastor. J. B. and his wife
